Podcasting (Distributing Audio/Voice Files)
Written by Michael on July 28, 2006 – 1:46 pm -I’ve recently run across, but haven’t tried (so can’t vouch for — yet) an interesting session (free) on how to set up and run a podcast.
It’s running now (but you can get caught up, and the next session is 31 July).
A podcast is a way to deliver audio or other files over the Internet to listeners.  You might use a podcast to send lectures, readings, or anything else suited to an audio format to your subscribers. (The term podcast can mean both the content and the method of delivery.)
Annie Jennings PR partners with PRWeb to present the first-ever Podcasting Support Group.
The next session meets Monday, July 31st, 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST.
You can also get, at no charge, the replays of earlier sessions.
The group meets every Monday at the same time and is designed to get you up and running with your own podcast.
You can listen to the recordings of the first seven Monday sessions where the group covered the microphone and audio components (so you’ll know what gear you’ll need) as well as signing up with iTunes as an end user to start receiving podcasts in order to have the experience of being an end user, downloading a free recording, and editing software program and more.

If you have already signed up for the Podcasting Support Group, there is no need to do it again. You can use the same Bridge Line & Pin Number for future calls. However, if you have any questions you would like Annie to ask Andrew (the Podcasting Expert provided by PRWeb) please use the link below.Â
If you have not signed up yet and this is your first time attending the Podcasting Support Group, please sign up using the link below. Please listen to the first three sessions to be sure you are on the same page as the rest of the group. Please use the link above to access the digital recording of the first session.Â
The group is designed to teach you everything from the absolute basics all the way to next-level marketing strategies.
Annie encourages everyone, at any level, to attend.

I’m personally quite interested in podcasting and will be including podcasts here in the coming months, so this is especially timely for me.
I plan to attend this series (after listening to the earlier sessions first) and will report back.
Here’s to your first podcast.
