My Facts of Life — and a Conclusion for Dream Job Seekers

Written by Michael on November 28, 2007 – 12:48 am -

  1. You will never have all you want.
  2. Never.
  3. As you achieve one goal, acquire one thing, or do something important, another goal, thing, or must-do activity will jump up to take its place.
  4. So, you achieve, yet there’s still more to achieve.
  5. That’s life (for me).

Conclusion?
Be happy right now.  You simply can’t wait till you have that new job, find that new mate, or get that new car or house to be happy.  Because when you do, there will be something else to take its place. Make up your mind that you’ll be happy right here and right now with what you have and what you’re doing.

THEN go off and do what you have to do.  Just as it’s always easier to find a job when you already have one, it’s much, much, much easier to achieve goals and make improvements in your own life, when you’re not stressing out about how unhappy you are.  Be happy now.
