Nearly everything I write about here has something, more or less, to do with risk taking.  Whether it’s starting up your own business, getting into — or out of — a personal or business relationship, taking the necessary steps to evolve a bit closer to your dream job . . . everything seems to involve some risk.

And, even the seemingly riskless options, such as staying in a job even though it’s filled with god-awful drudgery, are filled with more risk than most people realize.  (Being in charge of yourself is, actually, often the least risky of all endeavors.)

So, it was a real pleasure to come across my friend Stephen Hopson’s excellent post on risk taking over at Adversity University. 

Stephan’s a class act, a risk-taker, and great public speaker.
